Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Claude Code, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.

Use License

Claude Code is provided as a Beta research preview under Anthropic's Commercial Terms of Service. Permission is granted to temporarily use the software for personal, non-commercial, or commercial development purposes, subject to the following restrictions:

• You must not use the service for any illegal purposes
• You must not attempt to bypass any security measures
• You must not use the service to generate harmful or malicious code
• You must not redistribute the software without permission

Claude Code is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitations

In no event shall Anthropic or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use Claude Code.
